AiQ Consulting has been awarded a three-year framework agreement with Budapest Airport. In order for Budapest airport to continue to deliver excellent and compliant airport operations and aeronautical infrastructure on a daily basis, the agreement will see AiQ undertake airport process, demand and capacity assessment studies to gain insight into operational readiness and seasonal operational feasibility, as well as master planning and strategy to support the airport.
Additionally, in order to simplify decision-making and visualisation of airport capacity scenario models from kerbside to airspace, these studies may be supported by reportable database and 2D or 3D visual simulations of all Airside Passenger Terminal & Cargo areas of Budapest Airport.
Our work will include other airport processes, such as surveying airport activities, gathering and processing airport data and stakeholder’s management.
We will also work with Budapest Airport to identify efficiencies and help solve challenges across the whole operation. For example, we may look at end-to-end Passenger flow, from Kerbside, Check-in, Security & Screening, Departure Concourse (IDL), Gate, Immigration, to Passenger Reclaim. We will also be working with the Baggage teams to support with daily and seasonal planning including Early Bag Storage, Baggage Make-up, and Baggage Reclaim. On the Apron, our Framework covers airside Vehicle Flows, Aircraft Stands, Ground Services Equipment and Unit Load Device (ULD) Flow.
Our commitment to solving complex challenges airports regularly face was recently recognised, winning an industry award for Best Solution Provider at the AOA annual awards ceremony.
“AiQ Consulting has been delivering intelligent airport consultancy, including capacity planning, and supporting owners, operators and stakeholders across the world’s airports for over 20 years.” says Senior Airport Planner, Nomaan Asghar. “Through this three-year framework we will assist Budapest Airport in creating and delivering cost effective, future-proofed and efficient Airport Operations.”
